This tree stand is perfect for Christmas. I can say that the clamp system for holding the wood is not the best or the strongest simply because the bolts and nuts are steel and the rest of the parts that come in contact with the bolts are plastic which can result in that the nuts slip off or the plastic break. Unless you are careful when tightening the screws. Once the tree has grown, watering the tree is a little annoying (but that might just be me considering I had a very thick and fluffy tree). Those areas aside, this tree stand is strong, simple and should last for many, many years with good care.
