Review on Scotch-Brite ocelo Utility Sponge Set, Assorted Colors, Pack of 2 by Robert Howell

Ocelo Scotch Brite sponges (especially the larger 6" x 3 1/2" x 1") have been used to clean kitchen countertops for many years, just for dishwashing. However those (so far all) ordered this year 2020 have been split (photo attached) It's not that the whole sponge is deteriorating but strangely 30-40% of the sponge breaks off after 2-3 weeks of use These sponges are unacceptably less durable than before or compared to other products.
