Scotch-Brite ocelo Utility Sponge Set, Assorted Colors, Pack of 2 Review

Perfect size for dishwashing and general cleaning. Can't find this size in stores otherwise I wouldn't pay that much for 2 sponges but love this size.

This sponge has a long service life and after a perfect cleaning under running water it is ready for the next use. There is no mildew or mildew smell and it can withstand boiling water if you choose to deep clean.

There was a time when you could buy same size sponges at local stores, but that's no longer the case. Smaller, thinner sponges don't seem to last long and aren't as absorbent or durable. These sponges have substance and will not dry out when cleaning your counters. They are dishwasher safe if you want to sanitize them. They are way more perfect than anything you can find in supermarkets or chain stores.

As others have noted I can no longer find this large size in stores. I actually halved them because they are too big for my hands, but I want them to be thicker which increases their absorbency. Unfortunately I have found that their durability has diminished as they fall off much quicker than the same ocelo sponges I bought years ago. The price has literally doubled since my last purchase 1.5 years ago.

Yes, this is an illusory size that we cannot find in our local stores. The product arrived with two pre-moistened sponges. as seen in the photos. They absorb liquids easily and copiously. I gave them a full five stars for strength and durability because I've easily wiped kitchen countertops with them with no problem. I'm very satisfied with this product

I used to buy this sponge at my local grocery store (Safeway) and wholesaler (Walmart) but now this size is no longer available. I'm not sure what the manufacturer and seller think. Maybe I'm the only one buying this size. I use this in the kitchen because I find the more common little sponges to be much less effective. So grocery and mass retailers pushed me to Revain for this purchase. your loss.

I've used Ocelo Scotch Brite sponges (especially the larger 6" x 3 1/2" x 1") sponges for many years cleaning kitchen countertops with nothing but dish soap However, those (so far all) ordered this year 2020 have been divided (photo attached) It's not that the whole sponge deteriorates, but strangely 30-40% of the sponge breaks after 2-3 weeks use.These sponges are unacceptably less durable than before or compared to other products.

Existing photos of these two packs of sponges are somehow missing the sizing information you usually see on the pack. So I decided to add a few photos. Hope they're helpful. I'm sure the sponge itself works as well as others Ocelo sponges I've bought in the past I would say this is a medium sized sponge, like Goldilocks Not too big Not too small Just right.
