I found the Wohome soundbar and read some reviews here and on CNET and we are very positive. So I decided to take a chance and buy a soundbar from a brand I wasn't previously familiar with and it turned out great. The soundbar was well packaged, with optical cable, auxiliary cable, power cable, remote control and wall brackets. Set up was very easy (and it came with clear and simple instructions), within 2 minutes I had it connected to my TV and playing sound. It's about 38 inches long and easily fits under my 65 inch TV. It'll likely stick out the sides of something smaller like a 32-inch screen, but as I'll cover later, the sound upgrade would probably still be worth it. I was immediately impressed, the music and dialogue were much clearer than the dirtier built-in TV speakers. The bass also became significantly deeper and the entire sound spectrum became richer and fuller. I'm impressed that I can distinguish background noise in shows and movies that I've never heard before. In terms of volume, it's easier to turn up than I've ever needed in my apartment, and keeping it low fills the room. The controls on the panel are pretty basic, with a power button that also controls the mode with a short press. (the indicator light changes color to show which mode you're in), as well as volume up and down and a play/pause button. It's a nice touch and will definitely come in handy if I ever lose the remote or the battery dies, but most of the time I don't think I'll be using it. The remote itself is fully featured, offering all the controls of the soundbar plus buttons for changing tracks, muting and special modes. Modes include Bluetooth, USB, RCA, AUX, OPT, and COAX, although I think I'll only use optical (for TV) and Bluetooth (for phone music). I also tested Bluetooth and it was just as impressive, providing a great listening experience for everything from hip hop to music. Overall I'm very impressed. I'm no sound expert, but this thing is a great value. I feel like it has made my home theater complete and immersive. I will never go back to the TV's built in speakers and am already considering buying a second one for my bedroom TV.
