Review on Aqueon QuietFlow LED Power Filter by Christine Cepeda

I've used the old QuietFlow 50 for many years and found it quite reliable, although it required almost a monthly disassembly to separate the motor. Recently the clip that attaches the motor to the pump body broke and I replaced it with a new QuietFlow 50 with LED clogging indicator. The reliability of this device is very disappointing and I have to replace it with another brand. My koi can easily loosen the pump's suction tube by hitting it, causing the pump to stop working completely. That wasn't a problem with the old QuietFlow that I had for many years. I would avoid if using in an aquarium with medium to large fish.
