Aqueon QuietFlow LED Power Filter Review

The 50 pump is generally a great pump. I don't particularly care about the warning LED; it's too sensitive and actually started blinking right away and none of the recommended settings helped. Also, I'd rather not pay a premium for an almost useless feature. If you want to use a 90 degree bend in a turtle tank, you'll need to somehow secure the motor assembly with some form of sealant, as the assembly can break off easily.

I've used the old QuietFlow 50 for many years and found it quite reliable, although it required almost a monthly disassembly to separate the motor. Recently the clip that attaches the motor to the pump body broke and I replaced it with a new QuietFlow 50 with LED clogging indicator. The reliability of this device is very disappointing and I have to replace it with another brand.
