I don't usually like to write reviews but this lamp really sucks. I've attached a photo of the disassembled lamp here. I'm not asking for a refund because I want to hang this on the wall and learn from my mistake in case Revain decides to recommend this product to me again. One star for a lamp that turns on when you receive it. The disadvantage of 4 stars is due to the durability of the lamp and the design of the lamp. Firstly, it is a halogen bulb, which means that this bulb will eventually burn out like any other halogen bulb product. I understand that and for this price what am I complaining about? However, if you take this lamp apart to try to get a new bulb, you will quickly realize that the lamp has been assembled for single use. The lamp has sleeved wires that pass through small holes on the side and terminate in a crimp connector that fits over the switch terminal. I can remove the crimp connector, but how do I get the connector through this hole to free the bulb for replacement? The switch is connected to a metal case to which a non-heating wire is attached. If you ring any part, the switch's connection to the outlet will CRASH. Also, this lamp was only used for 3 days at 20 minute intervals to dry the paint. It was then stored in a fire protection cabinet. To be honest if they are selling this for such a good price and knowing all this up front I would try to cut a deal to get a palette of these as anyone using this 5+ times is going through Things like cigarettes go.
