Going to the beach to explore coastal ecosystems. (He chose a color.) He wears size 4 shoes in "big kids” and it seemed like all the brands I looked at (Natives, Crocs) only had them up to a size 2 or 3. when I found them and bought the women's size 5.5 (which is supposed to be a size 4 for bigger kids, although this listing says a size 4.5 for men). They fit him well and he was very comfortable in them when I sent him to play. If there is anything to report later, I will update my review.
