The fabric is soft and light. I ordered dark green and it looks like the color pictured. I'm 5'4", 145, I usually order a medium size for most clothes. I feel it fits true to size. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the chest elastic is sewn too high has been and is visible I'm currently awaiting my exchange I also ordered the blue one which hasn't arrived yet so I hope it doesn't have the same problem as the green one.
