The results of the work have thus far left a favorable impression. Depending on the time of day, the water pressure in my plumbing system ranges somewhere between 4 and 6 atmospheres. As a result, I have not yet bothered to invest in a boost pump, but I am always prepared to do so because it is impossible to predict what will occur in the future. With an overpressure in the outer chamber of the tank of around 0.5 atmosphere (adjusted according to the instructions with an automatic pump), water can be collected in the storage chamber of a 12 liter tank at a rate of approximately 6-6.5 liters in approximately an hour and a half's time. This quantity of water per eye, in addition to another 100-liter aquarium, is sufficient to cause strain when used to change the water in a family with two elderly members. Added after the business had been running for 8 months: Since November of last year, there has been no discernible change in the water's quality. 18-20 ppm out! Just super! I just recently put in a booster pump to ensure that there is always adequate water pressure at the membrane entrance. As a result, I am now able to collect 8 liters of pure osmosis water in a tank that holds 12 liters in just half an hour. In the absence of a pump, we were only able to gather a maximum of 6.5 liters in an hour and a half, while the amount of unclean water that washed down the drains was twice as much! It is easy to see how much money can be saved by turning off the pump.
