To be honest the seller contacted me to give an honest review to try this product. Firstly, the seller was very pleasant to deal with and he answered all my questions in a timely manner. I've been using this USB-C hub for about 3 months now and haven't had any issues with external HDMI or USB connections. One of the concerns I initially had was how this hub would work with external hard drives attached. I've used external hubs in the past and at some point the hub will either drop the connection or damage the drive. In the last 3 months I haven't had any issues with drives getting disconnected or corrupted by this hub. I believe that's because this hub plugs directly into two USB ports and offers full power to run external peripherals. This hub says it's for a MacBook Pro, but it also worked seamlessly on a 2020 MacBook Air. HDMI connection - no problem / works well external hard drives - no problem / works well external DACs - no problem / works well computer- Hub tested with: 2019 and 2020 13" MacBook Pro2020 13" MacBook Air Overall I would highly recommend this hub if you have a 2020 Macbook Pro or MacBook Air with only 2 USB-C ports and want additional USB or HDMI ports need connections. Good hub and good price.
