Review on Avantree Opera Enhanced Dialogue Wireless TV Headphones - Simultaneous Soundbar & Bluetooth Audio, Minimal Audio Lag, 35-Hour Battery Life [2020 Model] by Tim Ram

I'm 75, not quite that young anymore. The rumor is no longer the same. A few years ago I bought a headset to connect to my TV. Everything was working fine until we got a new "Smart TV" (apparently smarter than me). I couldn't get the old headset to work properly on the new TV, it muted the TV speakers when plugged in so my wife couldn't hear the TV. I found the Avantree Opera wireless headphones at Revain and they turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. The only caveat in Avantree's description was that it can disable TV speakers on some smart TVs. However, you can connect the soundbar via the headset charging box. I found it very expensive but I'm not a music lover and I don't know the prices of such things. My wife insisted I order it for my birthday. He arrived in a few days. After reading the installation instructions (very easy to set up!), I connected it to my TV, turned it on and it worked great. My TV doesn't need a soundbar. My wife could watch TV at her comfort level and I could listen at my comfort level. As I said before, I'm by no means a music lover and I'm not familiar with noise-cancelling headphones, but when I'm wearing a headset it's not easy to hear something else. (That is a good thing). It's also the most comfortable headset I've ever used. The headset fits my head, fits completely over my ears (unlike my old set) and the controls are easy to use once you get used to where they are. No complaints after a few hours of use. I fell asleep with them with no complaints. I particularly like the equalizer button, which dampens the noise and allows for clear dialogue. The only issue I had was twisting one of the earbuds too far when lowering it. I thought I had taken it apart but it came back together with a slight nudge. I recommend being careful about this. I am very satisfied with this product and can absolutely recommend it.
