Bought this for my Nikon SB5000 as the included dome can only be mounted in one position which always shrinks the flash to 14mm. On the SB910 and 900, the slots for the Nikon diffuser dome are in the center, allowing the dome to be mounted in two ways. One way automatically zooms the head to 14, and the other allows the flash head to automatically zoom in to match the lens magnification. The slots on the SB5000's dome are offset and off-centre, so you can't just flip the dome to match the zoom head to the lens. That's why I bought Omni-bounce. It works well but has a bit of play on the SB5000. I've dropped my flashes a few times (I bought 2 for both of my SB5000s). I always shoot with two cameras with a black dual strap so the flashes face down, making it easier to drop the Omni-Bounce. BUT, not a deal breaker. I'll probably use tape or something on the inside hem to try and increase the hold of the omnidirectional rebound. Maybe I'll try my flash drives (rubber) that I have from other flash modifiers.
