When I first turned this on I expected the light to be even and even across the entire pad. No, that is not so. It's a bunch of tiny LED dots all over the place. And I think I have to use it on the brightest setting all the time. I will be using it for weeding vinyl patterns made with my cricut cutter. Haven't really tried it for this purpose as I only got my Cricut yesterday, but judging by the brightness of these pads I just don't see it helping much. I will update my review when I actually use it to weed my vinyl models. The description says this is one of his goals, so we'll see. Although not too impressed yet.
