For several years I have had Wahl clippers that were noisy and inconsistent when clipping. I order them based on almost non-existent low ratings, albeit low overall ratings. I decided to cut my hair with them as soon as they arrived. To my pleasant surprise, they arrived 100% charged. The clippers have a metal body, which makes them feel more solid than the Wahl clippers I've had, and they were pretty quiet. They went through and cut my hair with ease. The guards seem sturdier and more solid than the ones I had. One caveat: the number on the shields is different from the choice or ones I have, so check the cut length on the shield for the equivalent. I can't say for sure about the battery life yet as I've only used it once, but I can tell that the battery isn't dead after 10 minutes of continuous use. I don't normally write reviews but I was impressed enough to do so. We hope that long-term use will continue with the same excellent results. The only downside would be that they don't come with a storage box, but for the money being paid for them I'd say that's not a problem.
