Worst use good product

I've put many screen protectors in my life, from plastic to glass, on all kinds of different devices. it's never easy. but I've never had such a run behind my money. To be honest it took me about 20 minutes to fully install this single panel of textured plastic. I have followed all the steps which are the same as any other screen protector. there's nothing in its construction that should make it that difficult, but it bubbles up like crazy, and all my efforts haven't helped to avoid fluff. My roommate joked that I was gone so long while applying that they thought the screen protector killed me. I still have a few blisters as well as a ton of lint which I can clearly see when the screen is white but I won't be buying a brand new one to try again. I've suffered enough. I think it would be better to summarize this in a list of pros and cons: PROS: - affordable - authentic paper look; it's finely serrated, like smooth sketch paper, so the pen doesn't slip and the lines are smoother. Like the paper feel on the Wacom bamboo surface, you can feel the texture slightly when you touch the surface, but it doesn't literally make your screen feel like paper to your fingers, right under the pen tip. - definitely anti-glare, which is a blessing as the ipad screen definitely isn't. CONS: - Installing it will make you wish for your death - Others have mentioned that it ruins the quality of your screen image. I wouldn't go THAT far, but it looks weird on a white background that I can't show on pictures. like wiping the screen with a damp cloth. I may not pay attention to it, but it can bother others. This will slightly affect the sensitivity of your screen. It doesn't surprise me, but it's worth mentioning given how important screen sensitivity is when drawing. I don't notice this when drawing with a pencil, but using finger gestures (like zooming in and out of a canvas) is much more difficult, sometimes not registering at all. - Back to the feel of the paper, I have no doubt this will wear down the tip of the pencil. This isn't a specific downside to this screen protector, it's just that all paper-like surfaces look like it; with the bamboo creation mentioned, i should have replaced the springs more often. This finish feels a bit rougher than this one, so I think it might wear out quicker. I haven't had it long enough to tell how fast though. I'll try to update my review when I've had it long enough to say how well the pencil tip is handling it or when I remove the frustration screen, whichever comes first.
