I plugged it in, loaded the SD card library and it worked!

I downloaded the standard Arduino Uno SD card script using the Arduino IDE program available from the Microsoft Store (a free download for Windows 10). All you have to do is find the SD library, download this script and it worked for me with a 1GB SD card.
