Review on Vans Authentic Platform Checkerboard White Men's Shoes by Kimberly Bryant

I really like these shoes and I get a lot of compliments. The platform is not as big and conspicuous as in the photos (which I like). I work as a barista and wanted something nicer than just sneakers but was afraid they wouldn't be as comfortable. You are so comfortable! I wore them right out of the box for a 6 hour shift standing the entire time with no issues. There's a lot of white in there, but they're so easy to keep clean (I used plain water and a washcloth) and I work with espresso splatters and coffee grounds on the bottom ending up on the sides. I would recommend pairing them with VANS socks as they cover up just like shoes and don't stand out thanks to the non-slip heel strips. Regular ankle socks look silly, IMHO
