I bought them about 6 weeks ago. My bathroom was always slippery but it took a bad fall, huge bruises and a black eye to get me to do something about it. These textured stripes are perfect for safe bathing/showering. The texture is a bit gravel but I've gotten used to it and don't even notice it. Make sure the tub or shower is VERY clean and VERY dry when applying the strips. I scrubbed the tub twice and waited for it to dry completely before applying the strips. I used the included scraper to press firmly and go over the strips a few times. The strips stayed in place - no problems separating, even at the ends. Also, I read a review where someone said the strips get uncomfortable because of the foam, so I make sure to dry the strips quickly after showering to avoid this problem. They look as clean as the day I installed them. But the most important thing is that my bathroom is safe now.
