I am using this camera as a dog monitor, not a baby monitor. My dog is young and I spend most of my time at home, so of course he gets stressed when I have to go outside. This thing was a great stress reliever for her and me. It allows me to look inside her and see that she's not doing anything insanely destructive and seems to calm her down when I use it to talk to her. This was to be expected, especially considering the not very high speed of the internet in my house. But all the features I tried worked and the price is quite reasonable.
