Review on Battery Rejuvenator BLS-36N: Advanced 36v Battery System Desulfator and Life-saver by Ian Iknokinok

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The auto shutoff is too low and it gets hot. Update 1

Don't like it yet. When I first used it, it drained my 36 volt car batteries down to 27 volts to "auto shut off". I don't use my shopping cart very often. Most EZGO cars come with a smart charger. When the battery voltage is so low, it won't turn on. I had to disconnect the batteries, connect them in pairs at 12 volts and charge them with my car charger for 2 days. I'll have to come up with my own low voltage cut off or find a way to wire it so that it only turns on when the cart is charging or when it's in use. I haven't used it long enough to say if it really conditions the batteries. I know it draws about 1.2 amps (DC) when running and puts out a fairly wide range of rapidly changing high and low AC frequencies, so it should break down sulfates and sulphites. Oh it gets too hot after half an hour so be careful where you install it. Updated 12/20/2013. I solved the low voltage problem by using my car more and installing a charger/solar maintenance maintainer. When I compare the health of the battery to how it was before I installed this Battery Life Saver, it has made a noticeable improvement, so I'm increasing the star rating from 2 to 3.
