Bought these for my elderly mother for her birthday. She usually buys a pair of glasses at the dollar store, and if she's careful with them, they last a while. But on average they break because of something stupid, or children get at them and easily break the handles. So I figured if I got her some good, more expensive ones, she'd keep them a little longer. I found her by messing with the style and color of the frames hoping she would like them and more importantly, USE them! She was a little in and wasn't so sure and thought the colors were ok. Purple is her favorite color, but black is the frame color she almost always gets. They are larger than expected but many buyer photos are true to size. They feel well made in terms of weight and overall feel. It makes me feel like they're in it for the long haul. It took her a while to get used to it, but now I see that she only wears these glasses. She still has a pair of dollar glasses saved for "backup" but I only see what she's wearing and carries them with me. I love her and she too. I will buy more as they wear out and break, but I don't think that will happen any time soon.
