Review on πŸ”³ 5-Sized Arc-Shaped Punch for DIY Leather Craft Belt Strap Wallet Bag by Kristen Simpson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Suitable for hobbyists

The bad first, while they were sharp enough to cut through skin up to 5/6 oz, they weren't sharp enough to clean to cut through something thicker. Also, the bevel is on the wrong side, so it pinches or flexes the skin underneath. And finally, the finish needs to be taken care of, otherwise they will have some rust. Now for the good: With a little grinding and polishing, it can make very good cutters. I beveled them again to place them on the outside (away from the workpiece) and buffed them almost to a mirror finish with a crocus cloth. I've been using them quite a bit since the update and they work really well. As an added bonus, the spacing between them allows me to use them to round both inside and outside corners, which is a huge plus. I say it's a bonus because I don't remember reading it in their review so I don't know if it was on purpose or if I was just lucky. They lost 1 star for the work I had to put into them, but for the price they're great even if you're just doing a few projects and don't want to upgrade.
