Don't waste your time and don't risk your life on a cheap compass or GPS that may become useless. This is a dependable item that you can count on and will serve you for many years to come. I wish I had mine 30 years ago, but it's as close as I can get without paying for an expensive tritium version. Don't waste money on it!
