It's strange, but it looks like both the 8600 and the 9600 are in the same pile of reviews. Feedback about the 9600k Unquestionably, pts is of high quality. After making the switch from the antiquated i7-920 to it, the boost in speed in simulated tests is more than double what it was before. Purchased for use in gaming. The percentage does not appear to have a significant impact on games; but, everything, including starting Windows and browsing pages in a browser, has become substantially faster for some reason. I did not overclock the system because everything runs so quickly. It doesn't appear to be getting too hot. Temperatures did not climb over 65 degrees, not even with the help of a cheap radiator. The price is prohibitive; an i5 will set you back about $20,000 dollars. It gives me the willies just to look at i7. And if I'm not mistaken, I sold the i7-920 not too long ago for $12,000. Wow, it was a fun time; the sky is bluer and the dollar bills are worth thirty cents apiece - -
