Sticky to remove by gluing, but gluing makes it worth it. It lasts for several days, e.g. A week, for example, and works well without feeling sticky like some other adhesives that try to run down the throat. The bottom line is that this isn't a tube of something resembling toothpaste, it's a glue in consistency that's more like "dumb puddy". But it's not stupid puddy.
