You will not regret it!
Although I was skeptical about using a "leash" for my baby, I don't regret the purchase! My son (18 months old) is fast and loves to explore. He has no way of holding my hand because he is too young to control his impulses. I bought a backpack to keep it safe in populated areas (theme parks) and on the roadside. That's wonderful. He loves to wear it and has even learned to button it up (but hasn't unbuttoned it yet!)
