The X-Grip itself is great. Very good quality, durable, super chic design. The stem mount is well thought out, but installation can be tricky. Here's what I learned on my 2002 Ninja ZX-12R: Before installing, screw the nut all the way onto the bolt, then back off to loosen the vinyl a bit. If the nut is too tight to screw in, the pocket washer will slip off the rubber stopper, which is a problem, trust me. Also, don't choose the smallest washer for the nut, choose the largest that fits your stem to give the rubber plug more "grip" surface, trust me again. For some reason superglue was included with the hardware. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO STICK THE POCKET WASHER TO THE RUBBER STOPPER, IT WILL ONLY MELT. Hope that helps. Overall a great product and looks great!
