The plastic piece that holds the screw in place while you screw in the bracket is a terrible design. Doesn't get caught in the rubber. It spins when you turn the screw and chews all the way through the rubber. If the rubber piece is damaged there is nothing to hold this mount in place. And you only have one. Stem mount part - junk. You can't tighten it enough to keep the phone from spinning. If overtightened, it will destroy the stock rubber insert and render the whole unusable. I was able to install this unit after spending about an hour cutting the rubber and shaving it to fit my medium stem. I followed all the instructions and even used glue to attach the nut and plastic washer to the base of the rubber to keep it from slipping.
