My "RAM Mount" arrived in the mail yesterday and I was glad to install it so I no longer had to carry my phone in my pockets. As soon as I opened the package it had instructions and a few loose washers and other parts that I was sure I would lose because I had no idea what parts I would need to install this amazing accessory! The guide was nice. easy to follow to install the bracket. The only issue I had installing the "Ram Mount" was the rubber cone that had to be inserted into the hole in the down tube and cut out. The instructions say "cut about 1/8" above where the top of the downtube is on the taper". Well, I'm a person who likes to play it safe, so I cut the rubber cone to just over 1/8". Well I was wrong when I did it. It took me a little more installation time and a few adjustments to get the rubber piece to fit properly in the down tube hole. When I found an Allen key that worked on fit the head of the down tube set screw I started to turn! The screw turned but didn't tighten and didn't "secure" the mount completely. It can still turn and move a bit but it works that it doesn't matter, and it will still work great if I keep my phone out of the dash and turning radius.
