I've heard a lot about the Ram Mount brand and name from other riders so I was very happy to get something solid to mount my phone to. Bought 3 days ago and reading the reviews suggesting watching a Ram Mount installation video for an easy setup. The video was straight forward and fairly simple. I've been following the video to the max and thought I had a product to keep for a while. A day after testing the mount, I noticed that the swivel head that the mount arm attaches to is a bit loose. The video guide assured me that when I tightened the hex head screw that attaches the device to the screw on the opposite end, the rubber hose would be pinched and locked. So I did. Eventually everything seemed to get tighter, but I could still move the base of the swivel head, so I kept tightening. In fact, the nut that was supposed to catch the rubber expanding in the triple hole punctured the rubber, rendering the entire block useless and loose. Poor design that cannot be adjusted or repaired once broken. I was shocked at how securely the phone mount held my phone. That aside, I really feel like I wasted my money.
