This is the first 'mod' everyone should make to their bike. My phone is my livelihood, and before I got the Ram Mount, I had to stop regularly to check my phone for messages. These accessories make driving even more enjoyable. I have two bikes (mine and my son) and getting on the first one was a headache. The serrated lock nut would not engage the rubber plug, just twisted around and would not expand in the stem bore. But after a 10-minute drag, the thing finally "hooked” and stayed in place. After that, gluing the ball joint and fixing the phone was not difficult. Installing it on my son's bike was a completely different experience, the stopper hooked up straight away and I did it all from start to finish in about 5 minutes. Take your time, take your time and watch some videos demonstrating the installation before attempting it. But the end result pays off enormously.
