I was able to install this unit after spending about an hour cutting the rubber and shaving it to fit my medium stem. I followed all the instructions and even used glue to attach the nut and plastic washer to the base of the rubber to keep it from slipping. Unfortunately after a few days the block loosened and wasn't stable enough as the block with the phone was shifting and not firm. Tried adjusting with a hex key. At first it seemed stable, but it became loose again. Continuous tightening caused the rubber in my midshaft to collapse. The device shifted and the threaded part came out along with the rest of the device. This should work on other bikes and maybe people with much better skills than me. Unfortunately this didn't help me and my bike (Ninja 400). I am so disappointed. The look is clean and the idea is brilliant, but the rubber compound is not flexible and strong enough to hold its shape. This product could be amazing if the product could be improved. I feel like I spent money on something that didn't work for me. The product didn't do its job and I couldn't run the product on my own, instead the product stopped working for me!
