It was the perfect size to put in front of the corner of the sofa where our cat scratched. She doesn't use this scratching post very often, but she likes the ball on top and the ball on the bottom. The fabric and rope aren't the best quality and where they screw into each other there is a lack of fabric and looks a bit garish. Overall I still think it's good value for money, but if you're interested in keeping things looking perfect, this scratching post is probably not the best choice for you.
