I bought this stand for an unusual reason: my laptop doesn't dissipate heat well. The fan intake is at the bottom and just can't get airflow. This stand keeps the laptop in a comfortable position for typing and also allows air to circulate freely under and behind the laptop. I work from home with this stand and I love it. I've recommended it to a colleague of mine and he loves his stand. When we get back to the office, this stand folds into a slim package and fits in the pouch that comes with it. I can put it in the corner of my laptop bag and take it anywhere. Highly recommended.
