Review on Kensington VeriMark USB Fingerprint 5 Pack by Mike Bogan

My goal when buying it was to use it for Windows Hello (allows Windows login with biometrics) I'm using the latest one Version of Windows 10 Professional. I plugged in the device, but the Plug and Play driver installation dialog box still didn't appear. Device manager said it was "Unknown device". I downloaded the drivers from the manufacturer's website, installed them and nothing changed. *FIX* In this case, use Windows Update > Optional Updates - this will correctly detect the device and download the necessary drivers. After that, the device was recognized and worked perfectly. *NOTE* If your system does not allow the use of Windows Hello Fingerprint, do the following: Start > Run: gpedit.msc > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Biometrics Enable "Allow use of biometrics" Enable "Allow users". log in with biometrics" Enable "Allow domain users to log in with biometrics" (if you're on a domain) (-: works great :-)
