I usually wear trifocals but I've found that I still need loupes for close-up shots (I've tried changing prescriptions but to no avail). These crescents are great because I can look down while embroidering and still look over my glasses if I want to watch something on TV. The fact that these glasses don't have a frame at the top helps a lot. The frame is well made and I appreciate the spring loops. Included were soft cases and cloths to wipe the lenses. I'm glad the package contained two items so you can put one in your purse and the other on your bedside table. Good product for this price.
