I usually wear trifocals but I've found that I still need loupes for close-up shots (I've tried changing prescriptions but to no avail). These crescents are great because I can look down while embroidering and still look over my glasses if I want to watch something on TV. These are by far the lightest pair of glasses I have ever owned and have worn them for over 60 years. The optics are great and given its size it's very easy to just slide it off your nose a bit so you can peek through when you need to. The fact that they don't have a rim on top makes them just as easy to use as expensive progressive lenses. I got mine to work on the computer. I have good distance vision.
