unboxing shows.

Okay, a little note. I'll write more later when I put these pants on the bike. As some others have pointed out in other reviews, I don't understand HOW THE HELL they're selling these pants for less than $60. The retail cost for just the fabric and zippers would be about half that. As I only received the pants yesterday I only tried them on so I'll update this review later when I ride. Height: I'm 6ft 2in, weigh 200lbs, inseam 35in, waist 40in. at the waist, but pull tabs on either side of the waist make it easy to fasten. Other reviews have pointed out that the ankle zips can get tangled in the fabric and this actually happened to me. I would suggest going SLOWDOWN and pinching the windflap with your fingertip while opening or closing the zipper. I plan on only wearing them in winter or when I'm expecting rain, so I didn't get my raincoat out. , but I've looked at how it's attached and it seems to be based around a zip around the waist and a couple of buttons at the ankle. put in the zipper when you open or close it. My first impression is that these are HEAVY, fairly well made pants. According to the label, the fabric is Cordura polyester. The rain lining is a typical smooth nylon fabric. I suppose it will need a silicone waterproofing spray at some point, but I'll wear it for a few rides before deciding whether to do it.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Not everything fits
