I've polished a few small things with one of these pads and so far they're great. I've washed it about 4 times with warm water and mild soap and it shows no signs of coming off. separately. It's a light use so I can't comment on how they manage to polish 20 cars in a row. although they may be worth the price. One thing to note: when removing the pad from the velcro orbital base, start at the edge and work your fingers between the pad and the velcro as you go through the pad rather than grasping it. edge and pull the pad away from the edge. I think ripping the edge may cause the seal to rupture multiple times. It's worth taking a few extra seconds and being careful.
