I just finished a cafeteria chair upholstery project with my sister. This stapler is amazing. Not a single jam and so easy to use. For my last project like this, I bought an electric stapler from a local hardware store. It was just a mess. Jams, noise, awkward handling, the staples don't always penetrate the wood etc. When the job was done the stapler was also empty and had to be taken back to the shop as the plastic around the stapler head was broken. . This Roberts stapler is made of high quality materials and the weight of the motor makes it easy to drive in sharp staples. I ordered Duo-Fast 3/16 crown staples with the stapler. In a box of 5000 at a great price from Revain. The local hardware stapler took lower quality staples, from 1,000 to 1,250 per box. Duo-Fast is actually much better and smarter. I'm a 64 year old female, I don't have a lot of muscle in my arms or arthritic hands, and I've had mild stool stiffness and no pain in my arms. Love it and I think you will too. Although it seemed a bit expensive at first, it will last for many years and complete many different projects. Update 2018: I am preparing to start another project involving two chairs with this stapler. I've used it several times over the years and also loaned it to my neighbor for her projects. I still love it and know it was a great purchase.
