A sponge with no wool is best for personal hygiene
Beware I got a much less durable "yellow" sponge, not the real "wool" being advertised shortly. The sponge crumbled into small pieces all over immediately after one wetting. Just got back from a trip to Tarpon Springs where they collect different types of sponges. I came as a hoe with a yellow and wool sponge and wanted another wool sponge. Even my 11 year old daughter can clearly tell a yellow sponge from a wool sponge. There we learned that the yellow sponge lasts 1-2 years and the wool at least 5-6 years. In addition, the wool sponge feels more luxurious.
