Let me start by saying that my rating is 4 stars for what appears to be a non-recurring problem. My main gripe with this product from the start (as shown in the picture) is that I can't fill the screen no matter what I do. On other keys I can get it where there are no stripes at the top and bottom, just on the sides. What to expect based on the aspect ratio of the iPad. But here I have stripes all over the screen of my monitor. I tried auto-adjusting the monitor and other tricks in the book but nothing worked. But let me talk about many of the benefits of this product. First of all, it's the build quality. While I wouldn't recommend spending just $60 on something you can't feel before you buy, I can assure you that the quality of the material isn't an issue here. Most appear to be some sort of solid aluminum or something if I had to guess. Silicone grips are in all the right places. This includes where the iPad rests and the underside to reduce shifting. And the stand has an adjustable rail for any size USB-C tablet. Another advantage of this product is the number of inputs and outputs. I can fit a ton of items in them and they all work great. I even hooked up a keyboard and mouse and they work. Although I recommend a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, you have 2 additional USB-A ports. My ideal setup recommendations would be: - A USB-C fast charging cable, which should come with your device. Although for aesthetic and quality reasons I would recommend buying a good long braided cable. — An HDMI cable, of course. Just so you can connect it to your monitor for the best experience. Pair of high-quality speakers for 3.5 mm jack connection. Any pair of speakers should be better than those on the iPad for any type of media consumption. - Includes an SD card reader for micro SD cards and standard SD cards for your photographers. The fact that they both include is a super touch. - High quality USB microphone for one of the USB-A ports I personally have a blue Yeti. But I think it's a bit overkill for this setup. I usually leave the last USB-A location open for random things to plug in. I'm sure you could connect a controller, a USB drive for file transfer, and a few other things. Leaving it open is just a nice convenience. With this setup, it will no doubt be very easy to replace your current laptop. Not to mention that iPad OS is only uphill. Not to mention that I wrote this entire review on this setup and it was lovely. I've been using it for about a week now and I really like it. I hope this review helped you with your purchase. And if you have any other questions about the product, you can always check the FAQ section as there is a lot of valuable information there.
