It was great until MP3 stopped working. twice.

UPDATE! My daughter played her radio for about 3 days and then the MP3 stopped working. So I sent it back and replaced it with the same one hoping it was just a defective accident. We played on the second radio for about a week and it just stopped playing. One second it worked, the next it wouldn't stop halfway through the song. I think it has to be more expensive. FM/AM still works. ORIGINAL REVIEW I bought this emergency radio for my daughter because I didn't want to spend too much on a famous brand and I wanted it to have an SD card slot so she could download songs, since the radio signal in the outback is patchy anyway. She wanted an emergency radio like her grandmother. I'm happy to say it works as advertised, we're able to listen to NOAA stations with ease and hear several FM stations quite clearly. Music from the card clearly plays best as there is no interference and the sound is very pleasant, but please note that we don't hear it loud or with heavy bass sounds, so I can't confirm any sound distortion in these cases. But when listening at normal levels, there doesn't seem to be any severe distortion.
