Review on HQRP Wick Filter for Walgreens 890-WGN Cool Mist Humidifier - Replacement + Coaster by Robert Norris

I usually look for the best in anything I can write about. Unfortunately, I can't say enough good things about these humidifier filters. If there were zero or negative stars I would give them those. The original filter that came with the humidifier was beautifully woven, stain free and lasted 3 years. Bought to replace my original filter. First, the filter is slightly larger than the original, but that's not a problem as it still fits. I noticed that the weave pattern isn't as good as the original, but I didn't care. I also noticed that these filters appear fuzzy when linked together. It seems they are connected by some kind of glue. I installed the first filter. The filter kept drying out so I had to refill it. This was not the case with the original filter. After 3 weeks of use I refilled the filter (by soaking it in water) and it looks like it just broke. That's how it was, it's not good. It should last longer than 3 weeks. I'm glad it was 2 packs. I don't expect the second filter in the pack to last very long. Their quality is terrible. Sometimes when something has a good price, you have to understand that the quality may not be very good. And that's the case with these. I am very disappointed and will never order this product again. I'd rather pay a little more and get a durable product.
