Review on LG 27GN800 B Ultragear: Response Compatible 2560X1440P, Flicker-Free, Adaptive Sync, HDR, Anti-Glare Screen | Review & Buying Guide by Jeff Bennett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The ships are warmly lit, but that's easily remedied with the little rubber joystick menu button in the middle.

At first I wasn't happy with warm colors, but there is an opportunity to change the temperature of the light. I turned it cold as it goes and now I'm happy. It's good quality 2k, 144Hz, whatever it says. However, before you start looking for a 2k+ monitor, consider the graphics card you have. My fps (base GPU 2080) was impacted by around 5-10 fps in games where I used to get 60-90 on ultra settings. The smoothness of the refresh rate is very pleasing, a smooth surface without glare or color inversion at an angle, as well as many settings that can be adjusted to your liking for color and lighting.

Pros
  • Extended dynamic range
Cons
  • The high cost of top models.
