Excellent brush for carpets and rugs. This brush has very thick, durable bristles. Ideal for heavily soiled car mats and carpets. When I clean a dirty carpet I also use this brush. You just have to know how to use it correctly, there is a technique. You just don't rub that brush as hard as you can. Use medium pressure I'd say, but definitely not very hard as if you were using a regular nylon carpet brush with softer bristles. When used correctly, this brush works very well.
