Review on Topzone® Outlets Built Circuit Breaker by Mike Bigglesworth

Not a bad strip, the color isn't quite right

that's what I call "typical generic extension". I haven't opened it up to check the internal wiring, so can't comment on correct wire size etc. The cord is a little over 1ft, which can be great if you just want to increase the number of outlets in a nearby outlet, but it's pretty much useless for anything else. The color is dark green rather than blue. To their credit, the photo captures the color pretty accurately, so I got what I expected. In the industrial world, blue is becoming a common "standard usage" to indicate that it is a UPS circuit. I use this convention for my computers and networks. I buy blue extension cords and strips (or close enough) to know that the circuit is on the UPS and can remain live when the power is off. If you're using this for that purpose, any surge protection is irrelevant and loads are usually light. enough that the gauge of the wire isn't an issue, so I didn't bother opening this one up.

Pros
  • is also clear to the old man
Cons
  • a few little things
