I bought this iron in early July 2018. I was away from home from July 4th to the beginning of August for family reasons. I unpacked the iron today and used it to repair the slightly crumpled top. The iron had a terrible smell but I thought it was because it was new. I put the ironing board out to iron my clothes tonight and the iron started smoking so much I thought it was going to go off on my fire alarm and the smell was awful. I quickly turned it off thinking it might catch fire. Since today is August 15th, Revane says I can't return it because it has to be returned before August 1st. Sometimes people buy things and don't use them right away. What should I do now.? Why should I be without money? JW
