I used this on my grandmother's antique brass floor lamp that hadn't been cleaned in at least 30 years. I hit it with a regular polish and the dirt wouldn't budge. Using this product required a lot of elbows and lots of cleaning rags, but the results were worth it! I would recommend wearing gloves as it is oil based and difficult to get off your hands. I also recommend testing a small spot before working on the entire project - there is a very fine grit in the product that can scratch softer metal or strip clear coat.
